UNAIDS - Geneva

The unique combination of skills and experience that Coact members possess mean that they bring a very specific quality to the products that they produce.

UNAIDS commissioned a series of Case Studies on responses to injecting drug use from a number of regions of the world. Our Coact partners responded swiftly and appropriately to our requests, submitted quality drafts on time that were in line with what we had asked for and were able to respond positively to requests for adaptation.

The products reflected a thorough understanding of the situation in the countries in question, and evidence that they had consulted with a wide range of partners. Most importantly, the voices of the drug using community were captured in all the texts, a testimony to the commitment and skill of Coact members in connecting with peers and representing them as an integral part of their work."

Alison Crocket, Senior Adviser, Key populations, UNAIDS, Geneva
