Deputy Director of HIT, a UK-based agency, which provides health information that improves and protects public health and encourages positive social change.
Maddie manages the day-to-day running of HIT and overseas its range of publications. She is involved in strategic planning for the organisation and monitoring outcomes. Maddie stays abreast of developments in drug use and also the policy environment in which HIT operates.
Before working for HIT, Maddie spent six years working with people who use drugs and people living with HIV for various organisations in Thailand, including Raks Thai Foundation (Care Thailand), Thai Drug Users’ Network, Thai Treatment Action Group, Ruam Mitr Foundation and Alden House.
